The Graphic Arts Exchange represents a huge volume of planning and study into creating a service that provides exactly what an organization looking to buy a piece of graphic arts equipment needs to know, as well as what needs to be provided to an organization to help facilitate selling an item. We started with just a blank screen and a general idea of what needed to be accomplished. We then looked to encompass as many features (and improvements over existing services) as possible. From the smallest little detail (like contact information at both the top and bottom of a listing) to the broadest possible outlook (like our Dealer 2 Dealer Network), we believe that there is very little that we haven't taken into consideration.

The Graphic Arts Exchange can be broken down into three main sections:

  • Our main listing service - created specifically for advertising items that you have available to sell to the general trade.
  • The 'Dealer 2 Dealer' network - to advertise items that you have available to sell wholesale to other dealers.
  • And the Dealer & Service Directories - that provide in-depth and comprehensive information on our member dealers to the general trade.

Each of these unique and distinct areas or sections of our system can and do standalone as an amazing resource for the task that they were designed to accomplish. However, by combining the three of them into one system, we are able to offer you a facility for selling your product like none other.

With extensive linking between the two publicly accessible systems, a user of the Graphic Arts Exchange is able to find out not only what your organization has in inventory or access to today, but is able to learn all about your organization. Put that together with the ability to list and wholesale your surplus inventory to a restricted audience of qualified and knowledgeable dealers, and you will find that the Graphic Arts Exchange is the perfect vehicle for you to advertise your inventory in today's complex business marketplace.

Below you will find an overview of each of the three areas of the Graphic Arts Exchange. Take a moment to browse through them and check out what exactly we can offer you. And, of course, if you have any questions or need clarification on anything that you find here today, feel free to give us a call toll free at 1-800-864-6130. We will be more than happy to help you!

In it's most basic form, the heart and soul of the Graphic Arts Exchange is our equipment listing service: While there are many other factors to look at when reviewing our services, this is by far the most important. And it is the most innovative and advanced portion of our offerings to date.

The Exchange listing service was created with two distinct goals:

1.) To provide a graphic arts professional with a forum in which to find a 'new to them' piece of equipment or supplies in the easiest and most efficient manner, and an ability to break down the barriers that stand in the way of direct contact with an equipment dealer.

2.) To provide graphic arts equipment dealers with a forum in which to sell their equipment that provides the most innovative and advanced features available on the internet today, the most inclusive and obvious contact information displayed in as many places as possible, and an ease of use that is unparalleled.

And when all was said and done, we had far surpassed those goals in every way! The Graphic Arts Exchange listing service provides graphic arts professionals with an extremely easy and comprehensive source for finding and contacting equipment dealers, while providing those very dealers with an amazing and extremely comprehensive array of features. (Want to see what they are? Click here for a complete list.) Take a moment to browse through the listing portion of the site to see what we mean. From something as simple as showing the photo of a piece of equipment directly in the search results (As opposed to a little camera picture like all others!), to the transparency of the contact information for the organization offering an item for sale; we have included almost any feature or piece of information you can think of in one form or another!

Take a minute to browse through the site, read our list of features, view the comparison chart between the Exchange and other competitive services, see why we are the world's premier internet destination for selling graphic arts related equipment, supplies, consumables, parts, service, and more; then click on the 'Register' graphic below to sign up for your dealer account today!

Open only to member dealers of the Graphic Arts Exchange, the Dealer 2 Dealer network is a truly unique method of wholesaling overstock items in your inventory to other qualified dealers. Made up entirely of an online listing service, the D2D system is access restricted to dealers within our network and was created and designed with the sole intention of listing equipment for wholesale to other dealers.

The Dealer 2 Dealer Network features all of the features and benefits of the main Graphic Arts Exchange listing system, but in a scaled down and extremely easy to use manner. Going under the assumption that you have a much more in-depth knowledge of the equipment than your average printer or other graphic arts professional would, we took many of the extra options completely out. This created a unique minimalistic system that is clean, clear cut, and extremely effective at highlighting your items.

And when we say that it is 'accessed restricted' we mean it. Each and every customer that attempts to register to sell items through the Graphic Arts Exchange Dealer 2 Dealer system is reviewed on a case-by-case basis to verify whether or not they qualify for any type of access to the D2D system. By following a strict checklist of items for qualification, we are able to weed out those that truly should have access to the system (dealers or legitimate brokers
offering at wholesale to dealers) from all others.

We feel that this strict qualification process is one of the most important parts of the D2D system; without a 100% assurance that the people seeing your listings are qualified dealers, and not end users, there is no way that you can feel 100% secure. Even just the knowledge that you are willing to sell something for less than the retail value wouldn't be something that you would want the general trade to know, let alone for how much below the retail value. No matter what the information is, you can feel secure that only the qualified dealers of the Graphic Arts Exchange Dealer 2 Dealer Network will see it.

Every dealer that registers to sell equipment through the Graphic Arts Exchange is provided with the opportunity to create a 'Dealer Profile' to be linked to - from each of their listings. This is an important tool in the sales process, as it allows potential customers to learn about an organization and see exactly what they have to offer. Because the Graphic Arts Exchange is designed to facilitate the transfer of information between organizations that may be a large physical distance from each other, a potential customer may never have heard of your organization. So, the more information that you can provide them about yourself, the better off you are.

To help in that respect, we allow you to provide us with as much or as little information about your organization as you would like to be included in your profile. We then have our professional designers lay it out in a manner that fits into our site, link it to all of your listings, create the necessary code for an imbedded contact form, create an entry into our review system, and publish it all to the Graphic Arts Exchange. We then create your entries in each of the directories listed below to link to this profile, allowing our users to find your organization both from each and every listing that you create, as well as through the use of our different directories.

The Dealer Directory:

In this directory, a state by state, as well as alphabetical and non-U.S., page structure was created. On each of these pages, any member dealer that is located in that area is provided with an entry. Each entry includes:

  • The Company's Name
  • The organization's logo
  • The location of the organization
  • Whether or not they provide technical service
  • The main focus or types of equipment sold
  • As much of the text from the beginning of their 'Dealer Profile' as can be fit into the provided space
  • A link to the remainder of the organization's 'Dealer Profile'

The user is then able to select a geographical location and browse through all of our network dealers in that area until they find one that looks interesting, and click on it for a complete profile.

The Service Directory:

Upon registering for the Graphic Arts Exchange, you will be asked to select up to five types of equipment that you routinely provide service for from a list of nine different categories. These categories represent the main equipment categories in all of our listing services, and encompass the vast majority of equipment in the graphic arts fields.

The user enters the service directory, selects the equipment that they need work done for, selects their general location, and a list of all of the dealers that fit the criteria are displayed. Each directory listing includes:

  • The company's name
  • Their exact location
  • Whether or not they also sell equipment
  • The five main types of equipment serviced
  • A direct link to the company's website
  • The company's phone number
  • And a link to the company's 'Dealer Profile'

The user can then see which of the organizations are closest to them or interest them, and read more about that organization by selecting their 'Dealer Profile', or contact them by phone - without having to read anything else.
